This morning we spent time at the clothes market/shopping centre. We purchased a new shirt for me and a couple of pairs of trousers. My new waist width 24 Chinese inches. Don’t know what that is in European measurement, but the trousers said 31 on them. It seems much thinner than i was. 
Tonight saw us goto a traditional upperclass Chinese restaurant, where much food and beer was consumed. Then a trip to KTV, which I’ll never regret never going there again. The music was too loud. ShuShu and friends enjoyed singing the karaoke, and drinking the “red wine, ice, sprite” concoction that was mixed for us by the serving staff. Microwave popcorn, fruit and other foods were served, of which not much was eaten as we’d already had a big meal. When we first entered the room, some videos of fashion shows were being played on the projector, which were showing some very scantaly clad women, it didn’t seem to bother the people we were with including the wife of one of Shushu’s friends, Miao and I both felt quite embarrassed by it.
