And Then There Was Alastair

This was written by one of my students last semester and I thought it worthy of being published on my blog:

We are fresh in our university, everything is new and interesting to us. We are busy with absorbing new ideas,meeting new friends and learning new knowledge. So we have little time to think about the life after graduation.

There are three choices for us to choose, traveling, working and studying further.

In my opinion, traveling first and then studying further is a good decision. Maybe it is not the best one, but it is my favourite.

As a Chinese student, I have little time to reavel around and few opportunities to enjoy my life. To myself, the graduation of my university means a relaxation. I need time to know more about the environment I live in. During these months, I should get more happiness and knowledge from my traveling experience but the abstract books. And at the same time,some months’ relaxation can relax myself and save my energy to continue my study.

About studying further, in my thought, the competition is keener by days in this society. So I need more knowledge and newer ideas to get a wonderful opportunity to win this war. It sounds a little exaggerate, but it’s true.

Should students travel, work or study further after graduation? There are many answers. Traveling first and then studying further is my choice. But whatever, living your life as you want is the most important and meaningful.
