Student Speech About "Pride and Prejudice"

Today, I want to talk something about one of my favorite books, Pride and Prejudice.

First, I want to say, Elizabeth is a great woman. At that time which was full of greed and vanity, she didn’t submit to money and social position. Instead, she chose love for herself only by guy’s behaviors and spirit—she is always following her feelings. Though this led to the trust in Wickham’s lies, and she nearly missed Darcy, her spirit should have moved and set a good example on us. Luckily, at last Darcy became a real modest, kind and respectable gentleman while Elizabeth found the fact and fell in love with him. It’s a happy ending.

Pride and prejudice are not only the obstructions of the love between Elizabeth and Darcy, but also the obstruction of people’s communication in modern days. What’s more, it has bad effects on treating oneself and everything correctly. Human beings have so many shortcomings, but above all, the first one is the shortcoming in our heart. If we want to have our own successful career, we must fight against all the darkness in our heart. For a long time, deal with misunderstandings and repeated reorganization. At last, our quality can be developed and we will find real happiness of our life, we’ll also have a happy ending.
