On September 27th, students on my “An Insight Into Britain” elective will have an exam. It is important to attend if you want to receive a mark for this test. Only legitimate reasons for leave from college will be excused. It is important to arrive to the lesson on time. There are advantages to arriving early.
The exam will have 4 parts.
- Meaning Match 1
- Meaning Match 2
- Reading Exercise
- Listening Exercise
The first meaning match exercise can be downloaded as this PDF. Please complete it and bring it to class on the 27th.
- Both the first and the second meaning match exercise will be given to you when you arrive.
- Please write your NAME and transfer the answers that you completed before the lesson from the first exercise onto the question sheet.
- You will be given 15 minutes to answer the second meaning match exercise.
- You may use a dictionary to help you complete it.
- These two exercises will be collected and correct answers given out.
- You will have 5 minutes to read and understand.
- 30 Minutes will be given to complete a reading exercise.
- 5 Minutes will be given to read the listening questions.
- The listening will have 3 repetitions, and is 10 minutes in length.
