As a fourth grade college student, especially major in English literature, it is common to find a source which could help me with my English studying. Even I may familiar with vocabularies which professor taught us during the class, but I still have to double check it after school. BBC as a world famous news source helps me a lot on my English study.

Firstly, on BBC website, there are many different categories for news which around comes from all over the world. As I reading the BBC website, I could find everything happens in the world. What is more it is very helpful that there are journalists writing analyze and comments on the issues which helps me to understand better of the news.

Secondly, BBC deserving its reputation as a reliable news source in the whole world. For example, during the Sichuan earthquake, BBC has been written the full transcript on what was happened in china at that time which built up trust and positive image in people’s mind. BBC has also known as its fast published news and TV shows. People could found out the latest news and information happened around the world which is the advantage of BBC.

Thirdly, people could also learn things from BBC website or TV programs. For example, there was a program called “The Tutors” which trace back to thousand years ago the story about King of England Henry. It was very different from what is in the book and some deep discovery about that period. Constantly people could also use the website to find out the history and other things happened in that period. If you miss it you could also read from the website.

Finally, BBC as a world well-known company which contains everything that happened past and present. It could change people’s view about the world and also could learn things from it.
